Consign with Beeline!
Consignors: Is Beeline right for you? - Wednesday, May 18, 2011

Why consign clothing when other stores pay cash up front?

Consigning is for those of you who want the highest payout possible for your upscale clothing. The downside is you must be willing to wait for payment until items have sold. We think the payoff is worth it. Did you accept $10 cash for your True Religion jeans or your Tory Burch flats? Next time, investigate your options first. Our average payout for such items was over $40 last year!

Consigning Information - Now accepting appointments for Fall/Winter 2011/12 - Wednesday, May 18, 2011

The store's owner must be present to work with consignors. Typically she is available to work with consignors on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. We handle clothing intake, returns, account reviews, and payments on a call ahead basis during those times. You must call ahead if you would like a payment, clothing returned, or have more than 50 items.

Beeline pays you 50% of the selling price after your items sell and typically donates items that don't sell within a season. Items left less than our minimum 90 days are subject to prep charges.

Clothing for consignment needs to look new; be clean and free of lint, odors, and wrinkles; and neatly folded or on hangers (your hangers will be returned to you). Vintage jewelry should NOT be cleaned or polished. Bring original pouches & receipts for higher end items if you have them.

Beeline resells high fashion and classic clothing at about 40% to 70% off retail.

For more information about what we accept (and don't accept) please contact the store. We resell a mix of upscale, designer, and vintage clothing. Style is always our #1 criteria and contemporary items within the last three years are more likely to be chosen. Our preferred method of payment is checks, written every 60 to 90 days. It is the consignors responsibility to request payment a few days ahead of time. Overwhelmed with a move or estate? Beeline partners with professional organizers than can help.
